CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Labor Systems, Inc. a private company based in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This position supports multiple affiliate corporations operating multiple branch locations in the temporary employment service industry around the country.

Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer will work with accounting and management staff operating several companies with numerous branch locations each with a high volume of transactions. The individual we seek will provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization while directing the fiscal functions of the company. This includes preparation of financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.

Responsibilities include:
Provide strategic and tactical thinking as well as broad business insight.

Meet the day-to-day and regulatory accounting demands of the company and builds reporting and analysis capabilities to support business growth and meet customer expectations.

Develops, refines and monitors corporate policies and guidelines for accounting and control to assure accurate, thorough and timely financial reporting.

Directs the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions and shareholders.

Advises the CEO on key cost, profitability and cash flow metrics and trends that may impact the future performance of the Company.

Provides the CEO with timely and accurate information that is designed and presented in a usable and understandable format to effectively support operating initiatives and strategic alternatives.

Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, insurance, and real estate activities for the organization.

Ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that all accounting requirements are met, and assure the company assets are protected.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
A four-year degree in accounting (CPA preferred)
Must be an accomplished operationally oriented financial executive with a verifiable track record of success as an effective financial manager
Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information
A strong technical accounting background as well as broad gauged business knowledge and the ability to provide actionable solutions to problems is desirable
Must be a strong leader with good communication skills and a role mode for lean business and standard operating practices
