Business Systems Analyst - Oracle

Takes lead in designing and implementing new business systems, specifically Oracle e-Business Suite. Take lead in the proposal of new business system implementations for review by CCC Management. Review and evaluate proposed upgrades to CCC's Business Systems from other software suppliers. Liaise with IS Technical, Architecture, IT Development, and business partners to facilitate and define integrated business solutions. Ensure that the solution is compatible with applications and architectural standards. ' Business System Analysis and Solution Design' Develop holistic solutions that encompass technical and process changes to improve business performance' Lead in the definition of functional business process or system requirements for Oracle applications.' Ensure the quality of requirements that will be used for development, testing, and user training' Write functional specifications and ensure high quality of the functional spec with the business' Analysis and documentation of process improvements using modeling tools like Visio' Coach and mentor team members' Proven record of coaching and mentoring staff in analysis and design competencies' Ability to manage a matrixed team' Support of the various functional areas which include: Finance, Human Resources, Order-to-Cash, CRM, Marketing and Business Intelligence.' Participate in status review meetings with functional management and super users.' Guide the functional area in the creation of business systems request/justifications for new development and enhancement requests. ' Assist with the training of super users on the use of CCC's business systems' Maintenance of customer issues and requests utilizing CCC help desk system.' Lead process improvement activities, coordinated with all affected worldwide areas of the business.' Support project management requirements' Estimate within 10% accuracy efforts for assigned tasks' Proactively communicate to management when project tasks and timelines can not be met' Project Management of various IT and Business projects' Consistently completes projects within 10% of the targeted budget and schedule.' Leads large cross-functional local facility based projects or small departmental multiple facility based projects' Capable of running multiple small projects concurrently. ' Willing to take calculated risks at times in order to achieve the goals of the project.' Responsible for problem resolution with vendors and the IT team on a local and in some cases global level.' Adhere to CCC IT policies, procedures, and development/ project management methodologies' Responsibility includes support of existing business systems' Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:BS in Computer Science, Business or related fieldExperience:3-5 years business analysis experience with the Oracle e-Business Suite. Skills Required:1. Proven experience in designing and delivering Oracle e-Business applications and solutions. 2. Experience gathering, documenting, and testing requirements for Oracle projects with use cases, process flows, and test plans/scripts. 3. Understands Oracle configuration requirements.4. Conversant with full systems development life cycle and best practices for Oracle functionality.5. Project management, including estimating/scheduling, controlling scope, and managing/resolving issues. 6. Ability to quickly learn business concepts and processes and to understand business problems and provide best of breed, measurable solutions.7. Must have ability to multi-task and lead in a matrix-ed organization8. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate with business stakeholders, architects, designers, and developers...both internal to the organization and external consultants. Must be able to facilitate meetings effectively. Other:1. Preferred: Oracle Discoverer, Workflow, Forms Development, and Business Intelligence/Reporting Solutions2. P/SQL3. Ability to coach and mentor team of functional BSA's and SME's.4. Oracle application knowledge a must (Financials, Order-to-Cash, Marketing, Service, Business Intelligence)
