Job Description:
The AIG Domestic Claims Business Systems Development Department has an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst. The position will be located in our AIGCS Olathe, Kansas office and will report into the management team in Parsippany, New Jersey. Job responsibilities include performing research and analysis on current business workflow, interviewing users to understand their current business processes - both manual and electronic, understanding the shortcomings with the current process, working with users to identify their ideal workflow (wish list), designing new ways - using technology - to improve productivity by streamlining the existing workflow, documenting the proposed business workflow in flowcharts/diagrams, working with the technical team to identify the best technology/system solutions to meet user needs, developing screen flow diagrams and/or screen mock-ups, identifying the business rules, data elements, data definitions and edits to support the new system or enhancement & determining if the enhancement impacts other systems/areas, identifying system interfaces, data feeds, data conversions, batch processes, etc. and documenting all of the above (business requirements) in a “Business Requirements Document” using an AIG template.
