Business Sector Vice President

The Health Services Sector is one of the key operating divisions within IMC. This organization has full responsibility for all aspects of business performance, and focuses on the delivery of enterprise architecture, document and media conversion, knowledge services, and integrated database solutions within the DOD/Federal Health Services Community, the Veterans Administration, the National Institute of Health and other commercial customers. IMC is well positioned for strong growth within the Health Services Community and therefore has a direct need to hire a senior level, experienced executive for the Health Services Business Sector within its Program Operations division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary mission is to establish and execute the strategies, methods, and processes necessary to ensure IMC is positioned to further build a successful enterprise business in the Health Services Sector. This individual will manage a team comprised of program and project managers.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding track record of building an “Information Technology”--centric business. Experience in the Health Services sector is desired and the candidate must demonstrate a well-balanced mix of operational capabilities (i.e., P&L skills, leadership, and customer focus) and core competencies in business development. Specific experience in orchestrating the growth and capture of programs involving enterprise architecture development, information technology risk management, information assurance, and secure information technology operations is desired.

The preferred candidate must bring “best practices” with respect to the business development process thereby ensuring that IMC positions itself to receive contract awards on a consistent basis. It is critical that the candidate bring energy, intellectual agility and the ability to quickly process thought into action as part of the sales process. It is also important that the VP of Health Services have an established network of contacts and relationships within the DOD/Federal/Civilian Health Services Communities and associated integrators at very senior levels. The ability to structure key partnerships and alliances, while establishing new relationships with key integrators, is central to the success of Information Manufacturing Corporation. While it is expected that the final candidate will have access to, and credibility with, key decision makers within the Health Services Community, pure access is not enough to be successful.

IMC is seeking candidates with proven leadership skills; strong organizational skills; critical team-building attributes; and the ability to guide and direct the appropriate resources to maximize business capture and provide superior customer service. The successful candidate must be intimately familiar with the maze of rules and regulations that drive the Federal Government’s technology capture process.

IMC seeks a seasoned executive, skilled in the areas of operations and business development, possessing the "business" vision to create and execute highly effective strategies to build the Health Services Sector for Information Manufacturing Corporation and to make a dynamic contribution to the continued growth of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
An undergraduate degree from an accredited, nationally recognized four-year institution is required. An MBA or advanced education is highly desirable.


Required Minimum 12-15 Years in the Information Technology Business working with the DOD/Federal/Civilian Health Services Community at a Senior Management or Senior Executive level
