Job Description:
Our Business Risk Services (BRS) practice, a specialty advisory practice within Assurance and Advisory Business Services, provides comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational solutions that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their internal audit and risk management functions. BRS seeks a consummate team player with a strong work ethic and excellent professional skills for the role of BRS Manager. This professional will plan, lead and perform internal audit procedures as a member of the internal audit management team and in accordance with the client's audit plan, risk management strategy and EY's internal audit methodologies.Responsibilities
Work with Federal clients, high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products, financial services, insurance and health sciences. Establish audit objectives and scope of work; establish the engagement budget; and take responsibility for the overall execution of the audit project through wrap-up and final report delivery.Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel. Stay abreast of current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/standards relevant to the client's business.Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation.Utilize technology and tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery. Understand EY and its service lines. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field; MBA preferred a minimum of 5 years of related audit or applicable business experience; previous experience working in a federal environment a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience would be acceptable for those holding a relevant graduate degree experience working on risk management and/or internal control engagements or federal financial statement engagements with a federal entity CPA/CA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CMA, RICS APC, PMP or CCIM certification desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager understanding of FMFIA, CFO Act, FFMIA, COSO, and OMB Circular A-123 strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic proficiency with MS Office and Lotus Notes US Secret Clearance or ability to obtain US Secret or Top Secret Clearance Successful candidates must be available to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Second language skills and international business experience are preferred.
