Business/Financial Analyst - PublishingMajor publishing company seeks Senior Business Analyst to join their Business Unit Finance department. The company is looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to make a strong contribution to both the operating unit and the Finance department.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects. The candidate will demonstrate initiative in project management and decision-making, and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong follow-through is needed to gather information from various sources and bring projects to timely completion. The ability to grasp new concepts and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment is also integral to succeeding in this role. Some key responsibilities include
Preparing operational and financial reports, build analytical tool to evaluate the business, Strong monthly g/l closing with journal entries accruals and some account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting and annual and long range planning for assigned business units, and making recommendation to improve revenue streams. Excellent communication skills are essential and proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Bachelor degree is required and 2 years minimum of relevant experience.
