This Analyst will design, assess, pilot and implement cost saving programs and productivity initiatives. Successful candidates will have experience in financial modeling and project management. The Analyst will report to the Region Service Director and must work well in a matrix organization dealing with the expectations and goals of a dynamic and rapidly growing health care company.
Experience in operations or consulting that support distribution or large field organizations is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, finance or a related field is required. MBA preferred. Experience in six sigma, lean manufacturing, etc helpful. Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving and communications skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Familiarity with Oracle or similar database system and reporting software such as Business Objects is a plus. Estimated travel is 20-30%.Responsibilities include:
1. Evaluation of cost, productivity, and performance programs and initiatives including:
a. Background research of business systems, other companies and vendors as needed to develop a project b. Preparation of financial and business evaluation for feasibility, financial improvement and strategic fit.
2. Presentation of project progress to executive management for approval and evaluation.
3. Development of project plans for testing and implementation.
4. Project management to implement the program and track success.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include:1. Bachelor's degree required in business, accounting, engineering or a related field. MBA is preferred. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and statistics is acceptable in lieu of business degrees.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in operations or consulting that supported distribution or large field organizations is preferred.
3. Ability to understand, evaluate and communicate business initiatives and opportunities.
4. Comprehension of organization, business processes and business strategy.
5. Exceptional organizational skills.6. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Familiarity with Oracle or similar database system and reporting software such as Business Objects is a plus.
7. Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude.
