Business/Finance Analyst

Growing, privately held distributor has a new position to fill and the opportunity for someone to join their team that has strong accounting base knowledge and the potential to interface effectively with operational departments in special projects.

Some of the functions this position will be involved in are:
Perform "gatekeeper" function for fixed assets
Operational reviews/audits
Tax filings (sales tax, property tax)
Develop and maintain a tax reporting calendar
Develop Cash Forecasting tool
Monthly P&L variance reporting
Monthly balance Sheet reconciliations
Analyze business drivers and Key Performance Indicators
Assist in developing internal audit procedures and best practices" guidelines
Develop a new monthly reporting for presentation to senior management
Enhance Budget processes
REQUIREMENTS
Requires BS in Accounting with min of 3 years experience with a solid base accounting knowledge and the desire and ability to communicate effectively with financial as well as non-financial members of the management team.
