Job Description:
Ernst & Young's Business Development group is a powerful force in building new relationships. Our team consists of talented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment, effectively align business development activities with the firm's objectives, and consistently deliver innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a business student for a year-round Business Development internship opportunity. The student will work 15 to 20 hours per week, while attending a school in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The successful candidate will work with our experienced team of business development professionals in a highly goal and team-oriented atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity to experience one of the best knowledge-sharing environments in the business world, and learn the many facets of business development. Responsibilities: Research and gather company and industry data. Generate and qualify target lists. Assist in all phases of event coordination, market share studies, marketing collateral, internal coordination with management and external telephone calls. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: The incumbent of this position must be a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline, and have the following: - previous intern and/or work experience in a professional business environment - excellent written and verbal communication skills - strong project coordination skills - strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask - excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - advanced computer skills in Internet research, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining a college degree and must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of their responsibilities. NOTE: This is a year-round internship opportunity and incumbent must be available to work between 15 and 20 hours per week while attending a school in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
