Business Capability Manager - Finance Systems

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: Work with GECS and P&L Finance teams to develop a GECS-wide strategy, determine business needs and appropriate IT solutions to deliver on productivity, simplification and controllership objectives. The primary focus will be on areas including Planning, Controllership, Pricing, Tax, Borrowing/Match Funding and Capital Markets asset pooling.
Proactively seek opportunities with the Finance organization to drive value creation for the business
Identify and pursue innovative ideas to optimize GECS business practices
Establish prioritization approach and adjust priorities of work as necessary
Report performance on capability delivery at the P&L or functional level
Develop strategic integrated business solutions that meet GECS's business requirements
Manage the delivery of key business benefits by removing obstacles and managing risks
Maintain long-term relationship between IT and the business
Guide inquiries and requests through the demand management process including supporting early phase estimates
Look across P&Ls at Finance functions to identify simplification opportunities
Work across the IT organization with Architecture and Software Delivery to deliver IT solutions to Finance
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of IT experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong business analysis and planning skills
Solid project management and SDLC experience
Ability to forecast, establish and track budget and financials
