Business Analyst / Project Manager – UML/RUP

Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will manage
cross-functional project teams and perform business analysis for critical,
enterprise-level projects and initiatives
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will act as the
relationship manager between IT and the business units, facilitating
communication and strategic alignment
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will perform business
process and technology analyses and recommend solutions that are in the best
interest of the business and IT
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will facilitate all
aspects of project life cycle management:
- Project justification/prioritization
- Resource management
- Scoping & objectives
- Enterprise
documentation
- Analysis
- Management Reporting
- Implementation, SDLC
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
BA/BS in business or computer science preferred. MBA in business
or computer science is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Experience within the financial services industry required;
Big Four-type management consulting experience a plus
Experience with a variety of projects, ranging from business
process improvement to software development/implementation
Experience working with business and technology personnel of
various levels and disciplines and a strong ability to harvest and translate
business requirements
Flexibility to work effectively in a team or individual
environment and on multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in project management techniques and SDLC
methodologies
Familiar with RUP and UML
Experience with design and development of:
-OLTP Systems
-Two and three tiered applications
-Distributed Applications
Familiar with OO analysis and design.
Skilled in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation
of vendor supplied solutions.
