SAP Financials Business Analyst summary:

Our client, a Massachusetts-based company, is currently seeking to hire a SAP Financials Business Analyst to assist with their current SAP Implementation. They are looking for a Business Analyst with strong SAP Financials experience to help with the implementation. The SAP Business Analyst is responsible for business process analysis, business requirements gathering, blueprinting, testing, and application support.

SAP Financials Business Analyst is responsible for:
Leading initiatives to successfully implement SAP Financials.
Managing the local implementation requirements in relationship with enterprise-wide global financial requirements.
Providing pre and post application support for local division.
Participating in all phases of project implementation from
Blueprinting, Design & Configuration, Conference Pilot, Validation and Launch.
Maintaining and documenting IT SOX compliance.
Assisting financial staff with post implementation requirements gathering and prioritization.
Interfacing with other key departments as is necessary to ensure successful adoption of any process changes and new financial controls changes.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential Skills and Characteristics:
Ability to understand and present work, and ideas in a clear and organized manner.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self motivated and ability to work independently.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance. MBA preferred.
5+ years experience implementing SAP Financials.
Software implementation experience preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance, budgeting and planning, finance and accounting concepts and practices, or tax.
Working knowledge of various financial and reporting software packages (e.g. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Hyperion).
Management reporting or experience in Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing.
