Business Analyst Payroll Customer Service - Tulsa

AmericanAirlines continues to focus on the future of the company and the successes of the employees. Currently our Payroll Customer Service team is searching for a qualified individual to join our team as a Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and monitoring changing business opportunities, policies and procedures to determine how they impact the payroll department. Lead cross-functional department groups within payroll during implementation of major initiatives such as contract changes and cost savings initiatives. Identify areas where process improvements can be made and work with necessary groups to develop proposals, cost justifications and business requirements. Continuously monitor and review controls in place to insure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Business contact for user acceptance testing of changes in SAP payroll application. Retrieve, analyze and report data to various requests as it relates to payroll information. Responsible for creating budget and monthly spending reconciliations

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires an independent, self-motivated, self-starter with strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure. Exceptional PC skills in Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint are required. Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment. Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple / conflicting priorities. End user familiarity with SAP FICO or SAP HR/Payroll and/or web applications a plus. Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
