Business Analyst, Oracle Applications

Great technology based company searching for a Business Analyst. Candidate must have experiences with implementing and supporting Oracle Applications. Experience with and/or functional owner of Oracle modules: AR, AP, GL, FA, PO, HR, INV, CE, iExpenses, Advanced Collections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Functional owner of 2 or more Oracle Applications modules, AP, AR, GL, PO, HR, INV or FA. Perform functional duties i.e. establish business processes, configure the application, design solutions, write test scripts, perform testing, error resolution, end user training, work with Oracle Support to resolve issues. Perform technical duties i.e. code interfaces and reports using PL/SQL and/or SQL, troubleshoot issues as needed. Assist in support and implementation of other modules as well as non Oracle applications systems as needed. Develop and establish working relationships with management. Provide technical second/third line software support for end users related to Oracle Applications. Train or assist with End User training on all systems. Develop and establish working relationships with management. Lead/Assist with all acquisition integration. Implement standards and procedures to quickly and efficiently provide problem determination and resolution. Develop, document and implement all necessary IT controls, policies and procedures consistent with legal and regulatory compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley. Perform problem and escalation management for user troubles, application issues, and application service interruptions
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: BA/BA degree or equivalent, BA/BS required with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business, a Master degree a Plus. 6-8 Years related experience required
• Participated and lead at least one complete Oracle Applications implementation of at least 2 of the modules listed above
• Strong and proven technical skills including however not limited to system implementation, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle RDBMS knowledge. A thorough knowledge of Oracle Applications package including AOL, security, system administration, data model and core technology. Experience with of Oracle Workflow a strong plus
• Ability to support trouble ticketing, workflow management, SLA, budgeting and/or management reporting
• Desired experience, knowledge and expertise in business and systems analysis and design and project life cycle methodology, best practices and processes.
• Very strong problem solving and analytical skills and should be a systemic thinker. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of proactive orientation towards troubleshooting, problem solving, and quick thinker with a sense of urgency. Seeks to expand knowledge and experience and is committed to continuous learning. Willingness to go above and beyond in order to get things done.
