Business Analyst - Manufacturing

Coloplast, an international manufacturer and wholesaler of disposable medical supplies and devices, is seeking a Business Analyst - Manufacturing for our new Minneapolis facility.

SUMMARY:
The role will be responsible for the analysis, development and support of processes within the manufacturing area. This will utilize the Oracle E1 system working together with the respective business units in order to achieve better quality and or cost efficiency of products and processes. The role will aid the helpdesk in the IT support of the manufacturing processes. The Business analyst will be have some responsibilities for project management for IT within the Manufacturing area.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.
• Identify, define and implement business system and process changes that will help users be more effective and productive.
• Provide business systems specification development for business requirements/processing.
• Identification of business improvement opportunities including analysis and development of solutions.
• Develop user and system documentation and end user training.
• Develop plans for thoroughly testing and documenting the integrity and effectiveness of new or upgraded applications.
• System programming and report writing using a variety of tools.
• Assist the IT team in support of end user requests as needed.
• Other job duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
• B.A./B.S from four-year college or university and two to four years experience in Customer Service Supervision or Inventory Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle J.D. Edwards E1 system manufacturing modules
• SDLC Project Management
• Working knowledge of MS office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
