Business Analyst: Finance

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a Business Analyst within our Business Development Group.


This position plays an integral role in the department's activities and will be given a high level of responsibility.


Specifically, duties include (but are not limited to):



Development of operational and financial models using Excel.


Ability to identify key revenue and cost drivers in various business scenarios, including but not limited to service industries and broadband infrastructure models.


Analyzing and making recommendation on buy vs. build investment scenarios using metrics such as Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV) and ground-up business analysis.


Formulating new business proposals, developing company and new business opportunity forecasts and valuations, evaluating merger and acquisition scenarios, and preparing investment documents.


Financial Analysts are expected to play a major role in the transaction process, including participation in building financial models, budgeting, whitepapers, new business proposals, and due diligence meetings.


Upon deal execution, analysts are responsible for implementation oversight of projects with particular emphasis on monitoring costs, identifying additional revenue-generating opportunities and keeping budgets.

Experience

2-5 years of work experience.

Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, Investment Research, and Product Development a plus.

Education

Must have a Bachelor's degree. Degrees in finance, economics, engineering, and accounting are a plus.

Candidates holding Master's degrees in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, and/or Finance are preferred.
