Business Advisory Consultant (ERP Pre Sales)

Leading Enterprise Software Company with a financial and accounting product suite seeks a Pre Sales Consultant based in the Atlanta area to support sales activities related to prospective clients in the Southeastern US (50% - 70% travel). Compensation includes base salary plus commissions.
This company utilizes a consultative sales process designed to understand client business processes and objectives to ensure the solution provides the best fit and addresses all of the client needs.
An ideal candidate for this position is a CPA with accounting management experience with technology companies (i.e. Controller) coupled with pre sales experience and Accounting and ERP software knowledge.

Responsibilities include:
Performing a detailed due diligence process including conducting client stakeholder interviews capturing business requirements and mapping the requirements to the enterprise software solution ensuring business requirements and organizational needs are accomplished.
Participating in the development and execution of the sales strategy by assisting sales representatives in identifying key milestones and tactics necessary to win opportunities.
The ability to prepare and present information to clients is required such as detailed business process documentation and complex business process flow diagrams utilizing tools such as Visio and PowerPoint.
Work closely with sales representatives and clients on complex business processes and compliance issues involving the order to cash cycle as well as the related financial reporting and forecasting.
Develop complex and targeted presentations for key stakeholders and senior executives demonstrating the understanding of customer's existing business processes, key issues, business objectives and how the solution maps to these requirements.
Setup and manage complex product demonstrations with relevant customer transactions based on existing customer business processes resulting in proof of concept to key stakeholders.
Develop complex ROI studies.
Manage and support proposal development.
Manage RFI / RFP responses, ensuring compelling answers to questions.
Support marketing initiatives and trade-shows.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree required with 5 - 7 years Pre Sales experience selling financial enterprise applications or equivalent industry experience.
Strong preference given to candidates with sales/consulting experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Great Plains, Lawson or Net Suite.
Extensive selling/pre sale/consulting and product demonstration experience for enterprise platform sales to senior executives and decision makers A MUST.
Proven consulting skills and ability to support sales representatives and customer providing strategic solution recommendations, custom development requirements and complex product demonstrations A MUST.
Experience leading discovery sessions with prospects to map and document customer business processes and requirements.
Business justification experience - ROI / TCO / selling business benefits to tackle issues / challenges.
Strong understanding of Accounting, Business Processes and Information Systems related to financial application software.
Strong verbal, written and communication skills presentation development, process narratives, process visualization, verbal presentations, product demonstrations, consultative interview skills.
