Business Administrator - Assisted Living
Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and assisting department managers with staff.
Duties:
* Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; maintains filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions in accordance with budget; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
* Responsible for maintaining facility resident management system including data entry of resident changes and reporting to Executive Director.
* Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; entering/researching vendor bills on a weekly basis, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
* Completes operational requirements by working with department managers in scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
* Assists in the recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
* Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing resident and financial reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
* Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
* Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and directed by Executive Director.
