Budget/Reimbursement Analyst

The Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California has an immediate need for a Budget/Reimbursement Analyst who will be responsible for preparing reimbursement reports for the hospital, i.e. Medi-Cal/MediCare Cost Reports and OSHPD, along with various other financial & statistical reports. Other duties of this position include; collecting & analyzing data, budget preparation/forecasts, and appeals regarding reimbursement issues. You should have knowledge of Medi-Cal/Medi-Care cost reporting principals: Financial & budgetary management; Reimbursement & Accounting principles and standards for hospitals; data processing accounting systems; Federal, state, & local codes, rules & regulations influencing fiscal operations.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from a recognized college/university OR a valid certificate as a Certified Public Accountant OR Certified Internal Auditor • Three years of experience as a professional accountant performing budget analysis work
