Budget & Forecasting Manager - Finance, Manufacturing

Energy/Manufacturing company headquarted in the Pittsburgh metro area, part of an international conglomerate, is looking for a Budget & Forecasting Manager with exposure to multi-plant locations. This position will help drive control of costs including adherence to budgets and spending controls for both expense and capital amounts. Responsibilities include: coordinating and consolidating financial planning activities in such a manner that management has sound financial data upon which to base strategic and business decisions; key hands on role in preparing annual budgets; produce service outcome cost analyses; assist in month-end reporting; compile and distribute monthly financial package, which assimilates statistics and income statements.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates MUST HAVE the following recent experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting and a CPA Certification
7 + years experience in accounting with strong financial analysis skills in heavy manufacturing with multiple plants
Public accounting experience
A strong background in SAP, JD Edwards or another ERP system
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Strong cost accounting, financial analysis and strategic planning
Demonstratable experience with standard and activity based costingWe need an accounting professional with excellent Manufacturing Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting skills complimented by strong communications and interpersonal skills as well as the energy and ability to jump in and contribute immediately.
