Branch Operations Manager

This is an exciting management positionwithin our Minneapolis Finance & Accounting office. Core fundamental expectations of this position are to effectively manage the staffingteam so that the end result for the operating unit is growing revenue, increasingmargins, managing expenses and delivering top-notch service to all three sets ofclients.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Internal AssociateManagement, Talent Management, Customer Order Management, Client Relations, andBusiness Development. This includes, leading by example with the company vision andanchors in mind when making business decisions. Training newly hired staffingassociates, communicating plans and activities with staffing team to ensure a "team"approach, providing performance feedback, conducting and attending branch meetings,assisting Talent Managers with interviewing and selection, investigating talentconcerns/complaints and follow-ups, receiving and processing customer job requests,establishing and negotiating appropriate bill rates, matching best-qualified employees tojob requests, coordinates and scheduling client service calls with the BusinessDevelopment Manager, responding to potential new clients' inquiries and questionsconcerning Pro Staff processes and procedures, conducting talent-marketing calls tosolicit new business from existing or potential clients, networking through candidates,professional organizations, or current clients to solicit new business from existing orpotential clients and assisting Managing Director with budget projections andsales/marketing goals.
To qualify for this position, the candidate should have 2-3 years management orsupervisory experience; a minimum of 3 years experience in staffing or relatedindustry, and 1-2 years experience in inside or outside sales. Communication skills areessential as this position works with people at all levels. In addition, handlingconfidential information and knowledge of federal and state employment laws is a keypart of this role. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and employee relationsexperience is needed. We are looking for candidates that have the passion and beliefthat Pro Staff is known for.
