Job Description
This position involves assisting the Community Manager with all aspects of accounting and administration, including posting rent deposits, entering and paying invoices, ordering supplies, monitoring security deposits (intake and refunds), balancing and closing books monthly, quarterly and annually, helping with budget forecasts, making bank deposits, and balancing checkbooks, plus some administrative work such as typing and filing of resident applications and leases, etc.

On-the-job-training is provided, but an accounting background and/or college experience is preferred. A positive, friendly and helpful attitude is a must. This job can be a great first step to a successful career with one of the most respected apartment management companies in the U.S.




Requirements

Good with numbers; entry-level accounting skills

Careful, conscientious and detail oriented

Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word

College experience and/or accounting background preferred
