Bookkeeper Office Adminstrator
Classification: Full Time Compensation: $35000 to $55000 per year A Miami based international Insurance firm seeks a highly motivated individual to perform several functions including administration oversight, bookkeeping, HR & IT assistance. The position will report to the senior management of the firm.
Finance: Will work directly with Managing Director of the firm regarding all financial reporting and accounting entries of the firm including collections, payments, payroll, and general day to day accounting issues. Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for presentation to the board.
Administrative Control and Compliance: Will be responsible for helping to execute document and contract control policies and procedures, administrative process management, file management, control, and backup.
Technology Assistance: Will be responsible for overseeing and directing our outsourced programming and IT professionals including the setting of deadlines, prioritization of projects, system and process improvements to improve workflow and control, etc. This is across company systems, email, network, etc.
HR Assistance: Will be responsible for helping senior management with HR issues including benefits research (health, retirement, etc.) travel benefits in effort to control costs and provide better service to our traveling employees, Expense Reports, New Hire searches, Benefit costs and liabilities in foreign countries, etc.
Candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized, a multi-tasker, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Should also be familiar and be comfortable with software and technology. Candidate must be fluent in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and be familiar with Quickbooks Acocunting Software. Candidate must be fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
