Billing and Collections Representative

PKWARE, Inc., an international developer and marketer of security and compression solutions from the creators of .zip, is looking for Billing and Collections Representative.

General Responsibilities:
1Call customers to verify all relevant information and follow up until all information is obtained. Update internal records after account has been verified.
2Create and/or edit various databases w/ verified information.
3Timely creation of quotes for software license renewals each month.
4Convert quotes to orders at renewal date.
5Conduct consistent follow up with customers to confirm receipt of quotes and with “past due” customers until payment is received on scheduled basis.
6Create and mail all past due and/or cancellation notices at the end of each month.
7Maintain payment documentation.
8Assist in creating account folders upon request and ensure all necessary details are documented.
9Process incoming orders from the sales team into invoices.
10Respond to general customer requests, quotes, etc.
11Perform general data entry and filing as necessary.
12Maintain accuracy of customer site information.
13Maintain effective team communications and complete documentation of activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Highly customer focused with the ability to interact with customers at all corporate levels in an effective, efficient and pleasant manner.
•Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask.
•Must effectively work in a team atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability to accomplish duties/responsibilities of the job efficiently.
•Self-disciplined and highly motivated.
•Computer literate with experience in all MS Windows applications and have the ability/willingness to learn internal and proprietary computer applications.
•Must have a capacity to provide and accept constructive feedback.
•Experience in technology environment and/or basic accounting skills a plus.
•Dependability/ability to adhere to scheduled work hours a must.
