We are currently recruiting for the position of:Sr. BAP Analyst
Summary:
The Senior Billing & Usage Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of major billing projects, billing functionality enhancements, and for ensuring the accuracy of activities & processes relating to Billing. This position will be responsible to help ensure data integrity as it relates to traffic & billing, and ensures the quality of printed and online customer invoices, accuracy of billing algorithms, traffic processing, and revenue assurance across all functions. This Senior Analyst works in close cooperation with other members of the Billing Programs & Quality Assurance Team, the Billing Operations team, and other Functional departmental teams. This position is responsible to help in identifying risks associated with billing projects, current and future processes and proposing & implementing changes to enhance or replace processes or manual process mitigation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Helps create and implement strategic plans for New Billing Projects selection & implementation, Billing Migrations, Billing Infrastructure & Architecture, and Billing Assurance processes & enhancements to support corporate goals. Responsible for AMA, EMI and proprietary call record analysis to ensure billing of proper elements for all usage billing. Develops and executes plans and programs, both short and long range, for new billing systems, implementation of billing enhancement identification & deployment, and billing quality programs to enhance the functionality of billing systems and processes including the audit of revenue streams for compliance purposes, and to identify and mitigate potential risks Plans and develops effective billing processes and audit controls. Reviews processes and audit controls from order entry and usage data collection through accounts receivables to ensure quality control of revenues. Assists in developing and executing test plans, reconciliation processes, and programs for the migration of billing functions between disparate billing systems, organizations, and locations. Monitors the marketplace for new billing systems, tools, and quality capabilities of competitors and submits proposals for review by the executive team. Assists in establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic billing and message processing vendors. Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Experience required in the following areas: Telecommunications billing systems and operations (CABS, Recip Comp, Wholesale, Retail), usage collection and mediation systems, program and project management, implementation of new billing systems and migration/consolidation of billing systems. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Master's degree or equivalent a plus Five or more years of experience with billing functions. Five or more years of experience with telecommunication usage and rating functionality. Effective and articulate communicator
