Billing Manager / Director

Our client seeks:
BILLING MANAGER/DIRECTORTITLE: Billing Manager / DirectorSETTING: Medical Billing CompanyREPORTS TO: Vice President of OperationsLOCATION: New Jersey (Northern)JOB SUMMARY: The Billing Manager/Director will have the day-to-day management of a large collection staff. Primary duties are as follows:
•Manage day-to-day activities of the collection staff members•Perform Quality Assurance on account notes
•Review patient and insurance accounts
•Resolve global insurance problems
•Handle basic client billing issues
•Work to resolve difficult accounts
•Implement and monitor uniform collection procedures and priorities
•Review collection agency grids
•Provide technical assistance to Account Reps
•Review client ATBs and prioritize collection activities
•Monitor productivity
•Train new Account Reps
•Rotate thorough accounts and evaluate collection activities of the Account Reps
•Review correspondence and reports that are sent to clientsOther Duties:•Oversee monthly reporting
•Create analytical reports (Visit Distribution Analyses and Managed Care Analyses)
•Complete special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
JOB REQUIREMENTS:•Minimum of 5-to-7 years of experience in a healthcare financial field, central business office, medical claims/billing, or medical practice management revenue cycle environment•At least 5-years in Physician billing•Advanced Degree Preferred•CPC Certification preferredCOMPENSATION: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience), generous vacation package, excellent benefits and incentive plan
