Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a BCC Project Specialist who will be responsible for completing billing center special projects as assigned by the Projects Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reports to BCC Projects Manager on a weekly basis, the status of special projects and projected project end dates
Responsible for completion of all assigned BCC special projects (e.g., sort code set-up, implementation and reporting, company conversions/transfers due to BCC closings and mergers, and acquisition patient conversions) within the timeframe requested
Responsible for review of all acquisition documents for validity prior to converting acquired location patients and charges into IMBS
Responsible for completion of conversion of acquired patients and their equipment/charges into IMBS from patient set-up to release of billing
Responsible for completion of any special projects that are not in the normal BCC process flow
Responsible to perform Test “ BCC recommended pilot projects”
Report findings of test projects and resolution of problematic issues back to the BCC Projects Manager
Responsible for completion of all IMBS “special clean-up” projects
Assist BCMs in pulling files, obtaining documents, etc for audits as needed
Assist internal audit in pulling files, documents, etc as needed
Fill-in for BCC staff positions who are out due to vacation, illness, FMLA, etc as needed
Completes projects and other duties as may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum one year experience in DME (Durable Medical Equipment) coverage/billing guidelines as well as Medicare DMEPOS coverage and payment rules is preferred
