We are a small, but rapidly growing HVAC sub-contractor that specializes in industrial and commercial projects.

Our company was founded in 2002 and we are on-track to close our 5th year at over $9M in sales!

We are currently seeking a Billing / Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team.

The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years accounting experience. You will ensure that all aspects of the company’s billing and collections activities are performed in strict accordance with all applicable company policies, laws and regulations. Analyze and properly apply contract terms to customer billings. Ensure proper application of customer payments, as well as prepare banking deposits. Adjust, maintain and reconcile detailed AR Aging to the General Ledger. Research and respond to internal and external billing and collection issues. Reconcile billings with collections. Interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual billing and collections results in terms of billing turn around, days of sales outstanding and other determined trends. Assist DOA with month end accounting close. Prepare ad-hoc reports for management as needs arise. Develop and enhance long-term relationships between internal/external clients and the billing and collections departments of clients. Additional duties include requesting and processing vendor / sub contractor lien releases. Focus on continuous process improvement and efficiencies. This position supervises an AP Coordinator and reports to the Director of Administration.

REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate must be a flexible self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. You need to be very detail and multi-task oriented, as well as possess good problem solving skills, have strong analytical skills and good oral/written communication and organizational skills. You need the ability to meet deadlines and handle constantly shifting priorities. Computer skills include Excel, MS Work, Outlook. Knowledge of Timberline software and the construction industry preferred but not required.
