Bilingual Retail Account Executive - Indirect - McAllen, TX
Purpose:
Assist in the development and implementation of business and action plans to surpass goals and maximize sales within accounts of responsibility. Review and oversee communication of results and advertising co-op guidelines and balance.
Provide in-store, as well as group training sessions on all aspects of initial and ongoing cellular education, AWS practices and procedures, competitive information and updates, customer assistance regarding service and sales. Prepare and update materials as needed.
Schedule and maintain frequent contact, via meetings and teleconferences with the Principles and Store Managers, in accordance with Dealer Account Executive Standards. Accomplish via participation in monthly managers’ meetings, as well as individually scheduled appointments.
Drive activity at the sales level to increase activations while ensuring a goal of 100% customer (account) satisfaction.
Identify deficiency of low or non productive stores, and assist in the development of action plans to increase productivity. Determine and fulfill the need, i.e., increased support, training, etc. Provide weekly/monthly sales reports and distribute appropriately.
Distribute and educate account and store level personnel of programs and/or promotions initiated either by account or AWS. Ensure that such programs are displayed according to Principal’s (account) direction and agreement.
Provide assistance in stores during peak promotional events, i.e. key holidays, promotions, special events, grand openings, etc., in accordance to Account Executive Minimum Performance Standards.
Support Principals and Managers on a regular basis, as outlined in standard, and more often as needs of business dictates, or requested by Principal or Manager for sales meetings, manager’s meetings, meetings with customers or prospective customers.
Commission and/or Co-op/MDF reconciliation
Monthly distribution of point of purchase collateral
Complete documentation and record keeping as required by standard
Assist in escalated customer contacts and deact control
Other duties, from time to time as deemed appropriate by AE, or channel manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
One to two years of successful sales experience
College degree or comparable work experience
Indirect distribution experience preferred
Effective skill in computer software - Microsoft Office applications
Consistently demonstrates leadership abilities, and motivates team members
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to effectively write professional business plans
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Proven experience in multiple-task prioritization
Ability to perform in a dynamic and changing environment
