Bilingual JDE Analyst

We are currently searching for JDE Analyst for a full time, direct hire position in North Miami, FL.

This position requires some travel in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Mexico. Being Bilingual is a requirement for this role.

Job Description

Purpose of Job - Support finance users in JDE system applications. Handle security reviews and maintenance. Work on special projects assigned, and act as a liaison with the IT Department. Research and analyze finance modules system functional problems and find a resolution. Analyze and document finance system processes and make recommendations.

Working Relationships - Need to interact and work together with the following groups:
Finance Staff All B21 companies To provide support, assistance and orientation of JDE system finance modules.
IT Staff Regional To communicate technical system issues found and follow up with resolutions. Work together on special projects.
SOX Coordinators Providing assistance of JDE system functionality including security design.
Auditors Internal & External Providing assistance of JDE system security design.
Operations Staff Provide security access & review.
Operational Business Managers To provide assistance and orientation about new technology, system functionality available and process improvement. Develop a working relationship regarding system security and finance processes
Consultants Work together on special projects.

Accountability The end result of the job and how to accomplish it and get measured:
Provide training and support to finance users for all B21 companies to enable functional users to utilize the JDE system efficiently.

Work together with IT staff in special projects on the timeframe specified in the project plan. Must deliver expected results on time.
Work together with IT staff to solve finance modules system issues, and communicate resolution to end users.
Perform semi-annual reviews and updates of the security workbench table to discuss with company management. Provide final update of security matrix.
Perform security reviews of new user access to the system as well as changes to existing users role and user groups. Grant appropriate security access in compliance with security policies and procedures.


Responsibility and Decision Making Authority Need to make decisions based on job responsibility and authority granted.
Perform analysis and research of functional system issues reported, find a resolution of the issue, document it and execute it after successful test.

Perform security reviews of all JDE system security requests and approve or reject request based on internal accounting controls and segregation of duties.
Perform setups and changes of JDE system modules based on formal approved requests.
Perform tests of JDE system solutions called Electronic Software Utility (ESU) and approve results.

Knowledge and Skills Required education, skills and experience. Also preferred skills and knowledge:
Education Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or Accounting
Knowledge JD Edwards OneWorld Applications and / or other ERP system applications
Functional Experience Minimum of 5 years experience working with JD Edwards OneWorld system and / or any other ERP system preferably. Finance experience and knowledge is required
Knowledge of internal accounting controls and segregation of duties to identify excessive or inappropriate access to the system and to prevent any user from performing incompatible activities.
