Best Brightest Assistant Controller

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 per year Ventura County based manufacturer on a huge growth curve is seeking a qualified Assistant Controller to dig in and make a solid contribution. The ideal candidate will
manage monthly financial closing cycle including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
prepare financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and statement of shareholders equity in accordance with accounting reporting standards; ensure compliance with GAAP and FASB statements; consolidate trial balance of foreign reporting entities and properly account for foreign currency transactions (FASB 52); supervise General Accounting , Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Accounts Receivable (invoicing, credit, and collections) functions; manage Treasury including investing funds in short term and long term investments consistent with the company's investment policy; preparation of cash forecasts, manage cash requirements to fund day to day operations including the General Ledger module; manage external reporting and annual audit; assist with tax compliance and implemenatation of tax planning strategies, risk management, budgeting and forecasts.Founded in 1948, Robert Half Finance & Accounting pioneered financial recruitment and today is the worldwide leader in the field.
