BUSINESS ANALYST I



Support/manage MIS projects through all phases of the project life cycle, including project initiation, requirements gathering, documentation, execution of user testing, coordination and support for user training, post implementation production validation, on-going maintenance and product support.



Utilize technical skills to streamline and/or automate current processes.



Interact with multiple levels of employees and management in all functional areas of the business. Provide feedback and recommendations for business issues.



Perform data mining, extraction, data trending, provide data analysis, and create forecasts/projections.



Create and maintain Capacity Plans



Collect and produce daily, weekly and monthly metrics reporting. Develop and produce Ad hoc reporting.



Develop and execute internal controls.

REQUIREMENTS


Computer Science degree or related experience preferred.



Intermediate to Advanced Skills: Access, Excel, SQL 2000 (Manager, Administrator, Query Analyzer), Visio, Microsoft Project



Beginner/Intermediate Skills: Mainframe queries, Command Prompt Language, VB, All Other Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Writer, Crystal Reports, Monarch, VNC Software



Preferred Skills: Experience with "green screen" program interfacing, People Soft General Ledger Module, Recon-Plus Reconciliation System
