WE ARE SEARCHING FOR A MOTIVATED,SELF STARTER TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL BOOKEEPING AND ACCOUNTING WORK FOR OUR HIGH FASHION WOMENS RETAIL SHOE AND ACCESSORIES STORE. THE POSITION IS FULL TIME AND THERE ARE BENEFITS AVAILABLE. THE PERSON MUST BE FLUENT IN QUICKBOOKS AND HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT EXCEL. THIS PERSON WILL WORK WITH OUR ACCOUNTING FIRM FOR ALL MONTH AND YEAR END RECONCILLIATIONS.
REQUIREMENTS
Maintains records of financial transactions,and posting of these transactions.

Duties:
* Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

* Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

* Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.

* Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

* Maintains historical records by filing documents.

* Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

* Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

* Responsible for reconciling all receiving pertinent to accounts payable.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:
THE PERSON MUST BE FLUENT IN QUICKBOOKS AND HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT EXCEL.
