Auditor (IT)

Responsible for performing a variety of auditing assignments to assure compliance with established policies and procedures for all technical audits; including project management, development of new systems, the internet, databases, software and hardware, or other information technology systems. Audit departmental functions, records, or systems to detect deviations from established policies, procedures, or any fraudulent or wasteful activity. Responsible for submitting audit reports for review. Make recommendations for corrective actions when necessary. Follow up to determine that approved recommendations in audit reports are instituted and complied with by departments. Assist outside auditors as assigned. May lead or assists lower level auditors as assigned. Other duties as assigned.Auditor II (IT), X22 - Typically requires a Bachelor's and 2+ years of directly related experience. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Working knowledge of auditing procedures, project management, IT systems and technology, statistical analysis, legal requirements and government regulations. Good communication and PR skills. Working knowledge of pc software.Auditor III (IT), X23 - Typically requires a Bachelor's and 4+ years of directly related experience. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus extensive knowledge of other related fields. Extensive knowledge of auditing procedures, project management, IT systems and technology, statistical analysis, legal requirements and government regulations. Good communication and PR skills. Working knowledge of pc software.Auditor IV (IT), X24 - Typically requires a Bachelor's and 6+ years of directly related experience. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of auditing procedures, project management, IT systems and technology, statistical analysis, legal requirements and government regulations. Good communication and PR skills. Working knowledge of pc software.
