You will participate on an audit team, and frequently as the in-charge, in the execution of a fully integrated audit process (operational, financial, actuarial, regulatory compliance & IT). The audit process includes identifying risks, defining audit objectives and scope, testing and evaluating controls, and reporting issues to management. The primary areas of audit focus will be the financial reporting processes for our Life and Annuity operations.What else can we tell you?

REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
We are seeking an individual with five to eight years of internal and/or external audit experience including several assignments as a lead auditor, preferably in the financial services industry (life insurance, registered products, including variable annuities and mutual funds, and retirement plans.) A BS degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent) is required and a CPA or CIA designation is strongly preferred. Excellent oral/written communication and problem solving skills are essential. Some travel is required. This position could be filled at either the Senior Auditor or Assistant Audit Manager level DOQ.
