PricewaterhouseCoopers in seeking a Senior Associate to join our Private Company Services (PCS) practice in our Los Angeles office. The ideal Senior Associate candidate will deliver quality service to top tier clients in our Assurance and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) Private Company Services (PCS) practice. He/she will be expected to take a consultant’s approach to the attest/assurance process of a client’s operations utilizing PricewaterhouseCoopers’ state of the art analytical and technological tools and best practice's methodologies. This includes annual and financial risk assessment, planning, review by interview, analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value, and focused reviews of information systems. Overall deliverables: ABAS consulting and reporting on financial and non-financial information, possibly SEC issues, annual audits, quarterly reviews, assistance to internal audit departments, develop and maintain strong client relationships, implementation of new technical standards, increase shareholder value and assess and manage risk with your ideas and intellectual capacity, assist in recruiting/training and development of staff, billable/chargeable hours, looking for opportunities to expand services to solve client’s complex business problems to position PwC as the premier "consultant of choice."
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
CPA certification, or actively progressing toward completing the CPA exam.
BA/B.S. in Accounting or related field.Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record 3 - 5 years on Assurance engagement teams in a national or regional public or Big 4 accounting firm. Strong oral and written communication skills. Commitment to exceptional client service, creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mind set. Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity with the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management.
