PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking Senior Associates to join our Financial Services practice in the Kansas City office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supervising audits and engagement teams in a national or regional public or Big 4 Accounting firms. The duties will include acting as part of a team to improve client business processes utilizing the PwC Audit Methodology. The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership skills in supervising engagement teams, have proven technical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Deliver quality service to top-tier Insurance clients Continually develop new ways to help these clients solve their ever increasing complex business problems in an ever increasing and changing global environment. Taking a consultative approach to the assurance process of a client's operations utilizing the PwC audit methodology. Focusing on various elements of the assurance process for top-tier client operations (including but not limited to F/S audit and preparation, systems reviews, risk assessment, regulatory filings and analytical procedures). Develop and maintain strong client relationships, project management and supervisory skills. There is some travel required, estimated 20-30% REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BB.A. in Accounting required, Master's Degree preferred.Essential Requirements:
3+ years experience in any combination of audit practice of big four or large regional public accounting firm and/or industry. Strong oral and written communication skills The ability to interact with all levels of client and firm management. CPA certification or eligibility to complete state certification process.
