Audit Professional - Associate

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills within engagement teams, have proven technical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills. Various accounting and audit-related services to include are: annual financial statement audits and reviews, consultation in accounting and auditing issues, and implementation of new technical standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


- Continually develop new ways to help our clients meet their ever changing needs

- Take a consultative approach to the assurance, audit and tax process of a client's operations

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, project management and supervisory skills

- Provide performance feedback and training

- Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment

- Identify accounting and auditing issues; perform research to solve issues that arise
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications required:

- Bachelors degree

- Strong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.0)

- CPA candidate - CPA license or significant progress towards licensure, desired

- Minimum of 2 years experience within a public accounting firm, preferred

- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, strongly preferred

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, required

- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity

- Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheets and other applications

- Candidates from industry with a desire to perform a client service role will be considered
