We have a great opportunity to join our rapidly expanding New York Technology Venture Center, which is part of our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. We are looking for Audit Managers to serve our impressive list of TMT companies both new and old. Clients of our global TMT practice include the world's top software company, computer manufacturer, wireless operator, satellite broadcaster, advertising agency and semiconductor foundry - as well as leaders in publishing, telecommunications and peripheral equipment manufacturing.
 
In conducting an External Audit of our clients' financial statements, our firm holds itself to the highest standards of independence, professional objectivity, and technical excellence. Our approach is to understand a client's business, the risks it faces, and its internal controls. Based on our
understanding we assess the risk of material misstatement of the financial statements so that we design effective audit procedures. For public companies we will integrate the audit of internal control over financial reporting as required by the Sarbanes Oxley Act with our audit of the financial statements. Our professionals bring a comprehensive methodology that leverages the firm's extensive professional and technical resources to our clients' financial reporting process, helping them meet the growing demand for enhanced disclosure and accountability.
 
Our external audit services include:
 
Audits of financial statements including reviews of quarterly financial information
Internal Control Attestation (including Sarbanes - Oxley Section 404)
Agreed Upon Procedures
Other attest related services
 
Managers oversee multiple engagements and resolve all legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arise during Audit engagements. You will handle autonomous control over and
exercise wide latitude and discretionary decision-making in establishing the most advantageous course of action for the successful management of each Audit engagement. You will supervise professional accountants, develop and motivate all engagement staff, including career guidance and counseling. You supervise and manage services to our clients, which include preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets and pricing, scheduling audits, selecting staff, assigning workloads and financial reporting. Successful candidates will have the ability to interact with senior management and build/maintain ongoing business relationships utilizing strong interpersonal/ communication skills and have a background that demonstrates broad business knowledge, industry experience&technical (US GAAP) expertise.
6+years external auditing experience in public accounting
CPA certification required
Advanced accounting degree preferred
Strong communication skills
