Assurance Manager - Technology, Infocomm, Communication and Entertainment (TICE)PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking a Manager to join our Assurance practice in the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supervising audits and engagement teams in a national public or Big 5 Accounting firm. The duties will include acting as part of a team to improve client business processes utilizing the PwC Audit Methodology. The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership skills in supervising engagement teams, have proven technical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Deliver quality service to top-tier Technology, Information, Communications and Entertainment (TICE) clients Continually develop new ways to help these clients solve their ever increasing complex business problems in an ever increasing and changing global environment. Taking a consultative approach to the assurance process of a client's operations utilizing the PwC audit methodology. Focusing on various elements of the assurance process for top-tier client operations (including but not limited to financial statement audit and preparation, systems reviews, risk assessment, regulatory filings and analytical procedures). Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters of Accounting preferred, and CPA requiredEssential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years current or prior public accounting experience in national public or Big 5 accounting firm. Bachelor's Degree required. CPA required. Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills required. Enthusiastic, motivated person who will develop and maintain strong client and team relationships. Candidates should have audit experience of companies in technology, telecommunications, software or high tech start-ups.
