The ideal candidate will assume overall responsibility for a team of professionals to deliver quality service to top tier clients, and will reside within Financial Services group of our Assurance and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) practice. He/she will be expected to take a consultant’s approach to the attest/assurance process of clients' operations utilizing PricewaterhouseCoopers’ state of the art analytical tools and practice methodologies. This includes annual and financial risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value, and focused reviews of information systems. In addition, managers will be expected to continue to develop industry and technical expertise in assurance and business advisory areas through written reports and management presentations, manage multiple relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through high quality service deliverables. They will be expected to share ideas with other staff and support critical reasoning with proper firm and professional standards. At PwC, our client’s and new firm working practices will challenge each professional to work to their fullest potential, resulting in greater responsibility, better training and increased job satisfaction.Overall deliverables: ABAS consulting and reporting on financial and non-financial information, SEC issues, annual audits, quarterly reviews, assistance to internal audit departments, develop and maintain strong client relationships/project management, implementation of new technical standards, increase shareholder value and assess and manage risk, recruit/retain/train and develop staff, billable/chargeable hours, revenue generation/expanded services to solve client’s complex business problems to position PwC as the premier "consultant of choice."
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree required, CPA required.Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years current public accounting experience in a Big 4, national firm, top local firm or prior major company that has a strong audit client base. PwC will consider a candidate with prior public accounting experience who has since transitioned into an industry role. A solid track record of demonstrated career achievements and academic excellence. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Previous audit experience with public companies is preferred.
