Audit Intern

We are interviewing candidates for our Fall/Winter internship program. If you are a junior or senior attending college in the Philadelphia area, majoring in accounting or finance and have maintained a GPA of at least 2.7 overall, please consider applying.
This position will assist the audit team with SOX 404 test work, as well as other audit related tasks. In addition, the intern will gain critical work experience needed as part of their professional growth and for obtaining a full time position upon graduation, especially in the audit, finance and accounting fields.Description of Intern Job Duties:
•Develop trusted relationships with Senior Management and staff personnel.
•Gain an understanding of the organization, its business objectives as well as key business processes and risks.
•Assist in the planning of audits, preparation of audit programs, performing testing procedures, drafting audit reports and assessing management action plans.
•Gather audit evidence and prepare audit work papers in accordance with departmental guidelines.
•Assist Company and Business Assurance Management with Sarbanes-Oxley Act Sections 302 and 404 compliance.
•Assist the Vice President of Business Assurance and Advisory Services, Director of Business Assurance and Advisory Services and the Director of Information Technology Business Assurance and Advisory Services in identifying the major processes and controls that impact our focus and selecting and prioritizing specific audits.
•Assist the external auditors with interim and year-end substantive and internal control testing.Job Requirements
You must meet the following requirements:

College junior or senior majoring in accounting or finance

Strong written, oral communication skills

Maintaining a 2.7 overall GPA
