The Quantitative Solutions team is a specialty practice within International Tax Services (ITS). Our practice has grown quickly, ensuring great career growth opportunities for members of our team. Our success in the marketplace has been based on a combination of people, process and technology.We are the quantitative backbone of the ITS practice. Our rapidly growing practice performs Foreign Earnings & Profits studies, FTC optimization analyses, Section 987 studies, Section 965 studies, Section 199 studies, modelling projects and many other quantitative ITS projects. Our approach to the market combines our highly trained people, well developed processes and innovative software solutions to provide large MNC clients world class service. We work with clients that have complex facts and interesting issues to solve.As a member of the team, you will play an important role working with our Fortune 100 clients, learning critical ITS skills and developing your skills to run large scale, leveraged projects. You will be working in the middle of complex international planning assignments, and this experience will allow you to observe and learn how our ITS Business Solutions are implemented at our clients. Over time this experience will allow you develop critical skills required by international tax practitioners. You will work in a team environment, and may be required to travel (some times foreign travel is required), as our engagements take us to where the clients’ information is located. The Quantitative Solutions team is a great introduction and training ground toward a long-term career in International Tax. Duties include:
Learn about the client’s line of business and general industry to properly gather international financial information.
Gather and manipulate large data sets into a usable format utilizing a multitude of state-of-the-art technology tools.
Work in a team environment with varied sources of information and responsibilities in order to achieve a shared goal of providing world class service to our Fortune 100 clients.
Apply international tax principles in a wide variety of complex situations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.Essential Requirements:
3+ years public accounting background Strong accounting, technology and analytical skills (CPA or MBA a plus)- A team player who can work closely in a cooperative and interactive environment with other professionals (our regular work environment is similar to an ABAS audit engagement)
International tax experience or training
Strong PC skills in MS Access & Excel
