Associate, Federal Tax

We are currently seeking a Tax Associate to join us in our Fort Lauderdale office.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns

Prepare quarterly and annual FAS109 calculations

Research complex federal, state and international tax issues

Prepare written responses to federal, state and local tax authorities’ requests for information

Participate in client meetings and work within a team environment to deliver advisory services to clients

Supervise and train the tax staffQualifications:

One year of tax experience with a large accounting firm

Previous public accounting experience with either a Big Four firm or large regional firm

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university

Able to utilize tax research tools

RIA, GoSystems Tax, FASB 109 and provision experience
