Associate, Data Ops, Structured Finance

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $70000 to $100000 per year This role will assist in the effective use of Structured Finance Data Content and will help the push for the integrity and quality of Fundamental Data and while maintaining a focus on strategic initiatives. This position will ensure that Structured Finance Analysts are using the existing and future assets effectively across the organization.•Contribute to and shape the strategic use of Structured Finance Content•Help define the data requirements of our ratings analysts by understanding how they use and manipulate the data. Continually review and evaluate data sources and how the business unit will use the data.
•Work with the business unit to understand their data requirements and have a pulse on the market's needs to facilitate data strategy
•Drive the data strategy for data resourcing•Forecast data strategy needs of the business by utilizing expertise and knowledge in the marketplace on data-driven products
•Compile the global alternatives of potential data sources and integrate them into a framework for utilization in the ratings process
•Work with data from multiple sources and make recommendations on alternatives for implementation
•Provide project management and data strategy expertise for projects•Provide recommendations and support implementation on technical and/or procedual workflow on data production.
•Leverage different data points and resource elements to streamline the processes and procedures and to enhance efficiencies of various products
•Work with technical and development teams to ensure appropriate implementation of data changes
Determine causes and recommend and implement solutions for data quality and data integrity issues.Other Accountabilities:
•Contribute to the philosophies and practices governing the use of structured finance content by the ratings analyst community•
