Assistant to CFO and Compliance Officer

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $40000 to $50000 per year Our client, the subsidiary of a Mexico based investment bank, is a full service financial company introducing broker providing private banking services to high net worth individuals in Latin America, primarily in Mexico, since 1993. The company is a small firm with 12 employees.Assistant to CFO and Compliance Director.Seeking a detail oriented, organized and efficient self starter for this position. Must be able to multi-task and handle varied responsibilities. Must be very proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word and be able to learn other applications as required.Duties under CFOHandle accounts payable.Prepare checks.
Prepare general ledger entries.
Prepare supporting schedules for accounting records.
Initiate bank transfers.
Prepare bank and other reconciliations.
Prepare and reconcile commission reports.
Prepare bi-monthly payroll.
Duties under Chief Compliance Officer
