OPPORTUNITY: Be groomed for Controller role within 2 years. Be a key contributor within a multi-product, world class manufacturing center of excellence. Communicate directly with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and IT on process improvements, demand forecasts, and key priorities within a setting that supports “best practices”. Be empowered to improve business efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase productivity. Supervise and develop staff.

Insure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. Manage the daily operations of Accounts Receivable and Collections, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Inventory. Control the standard cost system (i.e. bills of material, PPV, manufacturing variances, standards setting, inventory revaluation, annual physical inventory). Lead an accelerated monthly close process. Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly. Prepare extensive reporting requirements, both internally (i.e. daily bookings and backlog, weekly labor costs, monthly financial results) and externally (i.e. weekly bookings and backlog, monthly Hyperion financial and statistical results, quarterly federal/state income tax supporting schedules). Review and analyze monthly results; identify trends, develop corrective options, implement countermeasures, and track effectiveness. Assist the Controller with monthly financial forecast process, the development of annual budgets and strategic plans, and with various financial analysis projects as required. Analyze monthly financial results; investigate variances/problems, determine root issues/causes, implement sustainable solutions/improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
BS required; CPA or MBA a plus. Seek 4+ years of CPA or manufacturing accounting experience. Must have a history of promotions and adding value. Pluses are experience with large CPA firm or world class manufacturer; integrated systems (i.e. SAP, BPICS, MAPICS, JDE); product P/L; and/or acquisition integration.
