Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services

Gordon Hospital, a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital, is located in Calhoun, GA - approximately one hour south of Chattanooga, TN and one hour north of Atlanta, GA. The hospital currently has 69 licensed beds and 12 observation beds but is continuing to expand.
The Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services (PFS) has responsibility for the oversight of the billing and follow-up activities within PFS. The Assistant Director assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures for the department, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines. The assistant director is part of the leadership team at Gordon Hospital and receives all management level benefits.
REQUIREMENTSCandidate must have a bachelor's degree in Business, health care, IT or another related field.Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required.Candidate must have progressive leadership experience in a hospital business office.Excellent customer service and analytical skills required.
