Assistant Controller for Rapidly Expanding LI Distributor

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $90000 to $110000 per year Robert Half is currently assisting a rapidly expanding Suffolk County distributor with their search for an Assistant Controller. This new position, which has been created due to tremendous growth, will report directly to the company controller. Responsibilities will include handling the month-end close, assisting with the financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting, and preparation of sales tax returns. You will also assist with the quarterly 10K and 10Q reporting packages. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, which should include both public and private industry experience.
