Assistant Branch Manager

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $30000 to $42000 per year FUNCTION: Provides courteous and effective customer service through the effective delivery of account sales and services. Provides services to bank customers in compliance with established Bank policies and procedures and all Fair Lending Regulations.
DUTIES:
Greets customers, identifies their needs, provides effective resolutions to those needs. Maintains positive interaction throughout. Serves as service/sales consultant for customers, answers customer questions within scope of expertise, or, refers customer to appropriate source. Explains and opens Bank accounts. Determines customers' needs. Identifies and cross sells appropriate bank products and services. Completes product documentation and obtains proper authorizations. Provides customer with disclosures and product brochures. Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and performs functions in a compliance with all rules and regulations. Updates security and regulatory information through regular training. Responds to all telephone inquiries in a prompt and timely manner. May quote rates, describe products, provide information regarding matured CDs and assists in solving problems. Ensures that all customer complaints and problems are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintains updated knowledge of Bank products and services. Required to aid Branch in meeting and tracking sales goals by making outbound calls, organizing in-branch promos, sending customer letters, bank at work programs. May provide additional support to branch by: working a teller window and processing teller transactions, acting as receptionist for branch, acting as back up for switchboard operator, completing special projects, opening and closing branch. May provide backup support in another branch. May rotate position and complete assignments to other branches.
